About G.J Gardner Tampa North
G.J. Gardner Homes – Tampa North is a family-owned and operated franchise since 2019.
David Gembutis is the Franchise Owner as well as a Florida General Contractor (License No. CBC1256810). He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from Southern Illinois University in the early 90s, and since has become an expert on Florida Residential Construction. He has worked for large builders such as Pulte Homes, Maronda Homes, Ryland Homes, and D.R. Horton.
In 2005, David worked as the VP of Construction for Ryland Homes, where he was responsible for new construction revenue of $97 million.
In 2007, David opened his own construction company, Home Pro of Florida, which allowed him to work on various custom and semi-custom home projects for investor partners, larger remodels, renovation, addition, and even multiple commercial projects.
Due to his years of experience within the industry, along with also being licensed as a Florida Home Inspector (License No. HI4486), David has developed a high level of attention to quality and detail due to his experience in the industry, as well as a true passion for custom home building. David works alongside his wife, daughter, son-in-law, and other staff members in our office. The collaborative work environment creates a sense of family among our staff, where everyone is valued and treated with respect.
